Candidate Promises

Every election there are many promises made that you know cannot be made into a reality. They make such claims as, "I will make health care better for everyone!" (Farce) But for the most part the claims that are made are claims that you hope that they can make good on. In this case there are many claims that have been made that I really hope will not come to pass. "I will put Coal companies out of business, I don't care if you want to start up a coal business, just know that I will bankrupt you." "Electricity costs will drastically increase under my term." "Anyone who is trying to live the American Dream and is making above $250,000 is obviously rich and should be taxed as heavily as someone making millions of dollars. (ad lib of course)"

Personally, I just hope that he stays focused enough that he will not spend the first 140 days of his presidency as President, then get bored and move onto something else as he did as senator of Illinois. Let's all hope that in the next year or so that someone doesn't come up with an idea of President of the World...cause if that happens, we may lose the president to campaigning for that.
